It's a drama that narrates the career of Alan Turing and his team, in their attempt to break the encryption of the Enigma machine of the nazi Germany of Second World War. The team consisted of academics, mathematicians, linguists, chess champions and intelligence officers supported by Winston Churchill. In this film you can see key moments of Turing's life: his teenage years, his work during the war and his post-war tragedy after admiting his homosexuality. It was released on 2014 at Telluride Film Festival where it won the "Audience Award for Best Film" and is based on the book "Alan Turing: The Enigma" by Andrew Hodges.
